Tim Pritts, born and raised in NJ, played lacrosse and football for Bridgewater Raritan HS East and was captain of both teams. Coach Pritts was a highly decorated player at Bridgewater East playing for Hall of Fame Coach Chuck Apel (2008 U19 World Team Gold Medal Coach) earning 2X 1st Team All League, 2X All State and All American Honors while leading his team to the state championship game his senior year. Tim was one of 3 NJ players who played for the National North-South HS All-Star team at Johns Hopkins University. He attended Rutgers University and was a 4-year Varsity player and starting defenseman for 3 seasons. His senior year Tim was team captain of a squad that qualified for the NCAA tournament with big regular season wins over Navy, Johns Hopkins, Penn State and Army in the regular season and a first round NCAA tournament win over University of Virginia. During his senior year Tim’s team reached as high as a  #2 regular season national ranking.  Tim was a volunteer coach at Lovett for 2 State Championship seasons with Coach Dave Feroleto and later came to Walton in 2006 as one of the Varsity Boy’s coaches.  Tim helped Walton make its first appearance in the state playoffs in his first season with the team.  Walton continues to put forth strong teams with multiple All State players each season. Tim is self-employed as the owner of a mortgage company and real estate investor in the Atlanta market. Coach Pritts and his wife Vivian live in East Cobb and have 3 children.

Summary:
Coach Holthaus first played lacrosse as a mid-fielder at Washington College, making it to the DIII National Championship. He later played at Loyola College in Baltimore from 1987 to 1989. Post College, John played indoor lacrosse for the Philadelphia Wings. They won the MILL Championship in 1990 and made it to the playoffs in 1991. In 1992 he played for the MILLs’ Baltimore Thunder. His outdoor lacrosse experience included the Greene Turtle Lacrosse Club in Baltimore, Atlanta Lacrosse Club (selected as Southeast Rep in North-South All Star game 1994), and the Buckhead Lacrosse Club. Holthaus was assistant coach at Loyola under Dave Cottle, current coach at University of Maryland. John also coached in the NCAA National Title game against Syracuse in 1990. From 1993-2004 he played/coached both of Atlanta’s club teams as well as assisted in several summer camps in Atlanta. John and his wife, Kirsten have 2 children.
